Let's be honest, these are difficult times, these are different times, and hotels such as ourselves have had to find new ways of working and new ways of looking after our guests.
We spent the months we were closed and in lockdown finding these ways, we spent day after day after day working and re-working our standards of operation.
We knew we were going to have to change how we looked after our guests in order to survive this terrible pandemic that has gripped the whole world, we knew whatever we did our only objective was to keep our guests and our team safe, so, 2 months on from our re-opening on 1st August (we chose to remain closed in July to ensure we were ready and fully prepared and we had fully trained all our team) we thought we would see how you think we are doing...

Tables were well-placed in the dining room and the staff were well-drilled in serving cutlery and crockery safely and in sanitising tables after use. "For Mothers Day in March, my daughter gave me a voucher for 2 nights stay. Little did we know what was in store for us all! So 6 months later we thought we would take a well-deserved post-Covid break. We were a bit reluctant, as this was our first venture out. We need not have worried. Lindeth Howe had everything covered. Screens at reception. Use of masks and hand wash all through the hotel. Our room was lovely, well equipped, dog bed and bowls for our Collie.
Reservations were taken for dinner and Breakfast. There was a one-way system throughout. tables were sanitised after use. Food was brought to you. Lots of staff available. Rooms are sanitised at the end of each stay and no one enters your room before you leave. If you want to visit the Lakes and feel safe Linndeth Howe is the place to go. Thank you for making the whole experience an enjoyable and worry-free occasion".
"We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. This was our first hotel stay post the Covid lockdown in UK. Fully met our expectations. Covid precautions are very good. The room and restaurant are excellent. No hesitation in recommending. As usual the staff were helpful"
