You'll be greeted with a selection of mini gins in your room when you arrive, along with Fevertree tonic water, fruit to match, and of course the all-important ice.
The package includes breakfast each morning in our luxury 4-star hotel and dinner in the hotel each evening. Prices start from only £105.00 per person per night in a standard room with room upgrades available. You can stay on weekdays as well as weekends, however, for Friday & Saturday night a supplement is payable.
As our hotel was built in 1879 many of our rooms have unique shapes and features, please do not hesitate to call our friendly reception team on +44(0)1539445759 if you wish to discuss your individual room requirements and they will be happy to help you. Please be aware we do not have a lift, however, we do have 3 amazing ground-floor rooms that are all wheelchair friendly and are perfect for our guests who may have some mobility issues.

If you wanted to book another package, but also want the Gin, don't worry - when you book via our booking engine on the website, you can add 'Gin' as an extra on any stay!

All double occupancy rates are based on 2 adults sharing a double/twin room for 2 nights.
Single rates are available as shown below and are based on 1 adult for 2 nights.
Children sharing a room with full-paying adults have bed and breakfast included and are charged an extra £35.00 per night. All other incidentals will be charged as taken.

Gin
The Gins you will receive will vary depending on what is available at the time. You will however always receive 4 miniature gins and they will always be a brand that we know, love and think is very tasty (all tested by our resident Gin master Clare - she has no official qualifications in Gin, but she really, really, really likes it!)
About the Hotel
Lindeth Howe is a stunning hotel with over 30 bedrooms on the outskirts of Bowness On Windermere set in 6 acres of gently sloping gardens and with an enviable vista of the hills on the other side of the lake. We have a very extensive food offering that we offer around the clock and a great team of chefs in the kitchen that are wondrous at special dietary requirements, we just ask that you let us know prior to your arrival so we can order in any special items in good time for your arrival.
We would politely request that you book a time for dinner and breakfast to ensure we can seat you at a time that is suitable for you.
When checking in, please ensure that you let us know if you would like your bedroom serviced during your stay.
Breakfast is served daily between 8 am and 10 am, lunch is available from 12 noon until 2 pm, afternoon tea from 12 noon until 5 pm and dinner from 6 pm until 8.30 pm, light bites are available in the bar from 11 am until 9 pm.
Our well-stocked bar serves everything from the most obscure cocktails to a simple sweet sherry and with a variety of Gin to choose from including a local Lakes Gin – one of the only gins in the world to be produced in a world heritage site, what more could you need!
Many of our bedrooms have stunning views across the gardens to the lake, however, please let us know if a view is important to you when you book and we will do our best to accommodate you, although with so much to do in the area, who wants to spend all their time in the room!
We run a members card scheme, if you would like to join please let us know when you arrive and our reception team will sign you up, it is free to join and it provides you with exclusive offers around the year.
We can organise through our sister company mountain goat tours and holidays the most wonderful days out that not only give you the opportunity to see the best of the lakes but the driver also, please be aware that under 5's are not permitted on the mountain goat tours.
During springtime our 6 acres of private gardens start to awaken from their winter slumber, the garden furniture is put out and we can't imagine what could be better than sitting in the sun on a lovely spring day and enjoying a cream tea or our fabulous 'Cream, no tea' (Yep, that is a cream tea with no tea, you can enjoy a cocktail instead.... yep, cocktail, homemade warm scone, strawberry jam and cream - it's amazing, trust us!) you never know one of the local pheasants could take a stroll by or one of the squirrels that live in the grounds, in the early mornings, if you are lucky, the deer have been known to take a stroll across the bottom lawn! There are ducks that visit our pond, along with a little otter and of course, so many birds, we would love to know what you can see when you stay.
On most Saturday nights we welcome Pete Major to our restaurant who plays our grand piano throughout dinner, from Mozart to Meatloaf, and Beethoven to Blur, Pete can play it, request cards will be on your table, give him a challenge! Sometimes due to holidays or other commitments, Pete cannot join us, if Pete being in the restaurant to play is important to you, please check with our team on reception before you book and they should be able to confirm if he will be here.
On Sunday mornings (weather permitting) we offer a bird of prey static display in the gardens, this is totally complimentary and you can just pop over when you are ready, held on the side lawns from 9.30 am for 1 hour, you can learn about birds of prey from the fabulous guys and gals from Lake District Falconry.

It is very easy to book your stay with us, either pop the dates you would like to visit in our booking engine, or you can call us on +44 (0) 1539445759 and one of the team will be happy to book your stay with us.
We do require a £100.00 per room deposit for this break. Should you need to cancel we will retain the deposit for 3 months in order for you to arrange different dates, after 3 months, the deposit will be held by the hotel there will be no other charges unless it is within 72 hours of arrival in which case the cost of the first night will be made to the card we have on file, if you do not show up for your break this is what is classed as a 'no show' and the full amount for the stay will be charged to the card.
We recommend that you take out appropriate holiday insurance for your holiday.
