What our guests have to say

  • I had a lovely time, my gluten free diet was well catered for and as a solo traveller I found everybody very welcoming. I felt very comfortable in the hotel and it was great to be able to sit in the bar and restaurant areas and not feel daunted about being on my own.

  • We love Lindeth Howe, having visited many times since 2009. Even though we moved to Cumbria in 2016 we still love to visit. The charm of the hotel, the fantastic staff, beautiful crafted rooms will always draw us back. The Potter room was exceptional, we could definitely have stayed for longer! Looking forward to our next visit already

  • Everything was excellent!

  • We had a wonderful stay and the hotel and staff exceeded all our expectations. We also had the added bonus of meeting the birds of prey and their keeper at breakfast which was a lovely surprise and very educational. Hope to return soon and would stay in the same room again if possible. We had such pretty views and loved the big windows.

  • I love Lindeth Howe. The decor is beautiful and so are the gardens. It was our third visit and it won't be our last. Our favourite hotel in the Lake District. Thank you!
