New Year's Eve	Arrival day 24 hour freedom of the Lake Ticket for Windermere Lake Cruises Cocktail & Cake in served between 3pm and 5pm. Our traditional (optional) black-tie gala dinner this evening gives you the perfect opportunity to welcome 2024 in style! Our piper will pipe you through to dinner where he will address the haggis!
New Year's Day	Lazy brunch with Bucks Fizz Tea, coffee, and cake in the lounge at 3pm until 5pm with the wonderful Paul Flattley doing caricatures, the perfect memento to remember your time with us over the New Year Delicious four-course dinner in the acclaimed Lindeth Howe restaurant

Single occupancy rates are available. Dinner Bed and Breakfast basis includes lunch on Christmas day and a light buffet on Christmas day evening. £300.00 deposit to secure booking. 2nd payment of £300.00 is due by 2nd September. Final payment due 30th November. All deposits are held. All deposits are non-refundable and we advise taking holiday insurance such as Cancellation plan Prices are per room per stay. Children occupying their own rooms are charged at the adult price. Children aged 14 and under are £125.00 per child per night, Children 3 and under are free with meals charged as taken. About Lindeth Howe!

Lindeth Howe is a stunning hotel with over 30 bedrooms on the outskirts of Bowness On Windermere set in 6 acres of gently sloping gardens and with an enviable vista of the hills on the other side of the lake. We have a very extensive food offering that we offer around the clock and a great team of chefs in the kitchen that are wondrous at special dietary requirements, we just ask that you let us know prior to your arrival day.

Breakfast is served daily between 8am and 10am, lunch is available from 12noon until 2pm, afternoon tea from 12noon until 5pm and dinner from 6pm until 8.30pm, light bites are available in the bar from 11am until 9pm. Food service times may vary during the festive season. Please check with reception for more details.

Our well-stocked bar has a wonderful barman who is a master at everything from the most obscure cocktails to a simple sweet sherry and with a variety of Gin’s to choose from including a local Lakes Gin – one of the only gins in the world to be produced in a world heritage site, what more could you need!

Many of our bedrooms have stunning views across the gardens to the lake, however, please let us know if a view is important to you when you book and we will do our best to accommodate you, although with so much to do in the area, who wants to spend all their time in the room!

We run a members card scheme, if you would like to join please let us know when you arrive and our reception team will sign you up, it is free to join and it provides you with exclusive offers around the year.

Lindeth Howe is only a 30-minute drive from the M6 junction 36. The drive along the A591 is a beautiful one and takes in some lovely sights along the way, why not stop off at Staveley village on the way? There is a lovely community shop in the retail area where Hawkshead brewery is based that sells homemade jams, spreads, and crafts by local people (There is one lady that sells her green tomato chutney – heaven!!)

When you are planning your route to the hotel, please use the phrase ‘Longtail Hill’ in your SatNav as not all route guidance systems recognise the postcode as belonging to the hotel.
