Charlotte & Charles's Special Day
Some weddings feel like a whirlwind of joy from the moment the first guests arrive, and Charles & Charlotte’s August 2025 celebration was exactly that — vibrant, heartfelt, and filled with unforgettable moments that perfectly reflected their personalities.
With exclusive use of the hotel, their weekend began on the Friday evening with a relaxed BBQ, giving everyone the chance to settle in, reconnect, and ease into what would become a truly extraordinary celebration.
As they had already married in a private ceremony, their wedding day here took on a beautifully personal twist. One of their guests, the lovely Hannah, stepped forward as their celebrant — creating a ceremony that felt intimate, meaningful, and completely unique to them. It was a moment shaped by friendship, love, and the people who mattered most.
And then came one of the most delightfully unexpected highlights of the day: Whyte Side Alpacas arrived to entertain their guests. The alpacas were an instant hit — though we suspect no one was more excited than our very own Clare, who was absolutely in her element! It brought a sense of fun and light‑heartedness that had everyone smiling from ear to ear.
Their planning journey, however, was anything but ordinary. Just after booking, Charles and Charlotte made a transatlantic move to Colorado and would only be returning to the UK for the wedding. This meant Zoom meetings across time zones, a very early wedding tasting, and plenty of creative coordination — but we loved every moment of the excitement. Supporting them from afar and bringing their vision to life was a joy, and when the day finally arrived, it unfolded flawlessly.
By the end of the night, they told us they wished they could do it all over again — and truthfully, so do we. Brilliant fun with a brilliant couple, their wedding was a celebration we’ll always remember with a smile.

Where do I start...from the moment we walked into Lindeth Howe we just knew it was the perfect place for us to celebrate with family and friends.
The venue is so beautiful, vibrant and full of character. The staff are so welcoming, kind and professional.
Big shout out to John and Clare for making planning so smooth and easy (not a small task considering we had an unexpected transatlantic move in the middle of planning).
On the day everything ran seamlessly. John made such a big effort, including setting up our DIY photobooth/guestbook area. We had so many lovely comments from our loved ones about the venue, staff and food (absolutely delicious).
The DJ Jamie Harper (booked by Lindeth Howe) was absolutely fab. It was the best day ever and we want to do it all again!! Lots of love, Charlotte & Charles
