Rawnie & Josh's Special Day
Some days stay with you long after the last light fades, and Rawnie & Josh’s wedding was one of those rare, luminous moments. Their celebration had a softness to it — the kind of warmth that only comes from a couple who know exactly what matters.
From the very beginning, they embraced our You & Me wedding package, shaping it into something beautifully their own by inviting their closest family to share in the joy. It created a day that felt intimate, unhurried, and full of meaning.

The evening before, they gathered for a relaxed family dinner in our restaurant — nothing rushed, nothing formal, just the gentle hum of conversation and the feeling of being together. It set the perfect tone for what was to come: two days wrapped in calm, connection, and quiet excitement.
On the morning of the wedding, everyone came down to breakfast as one happy group. The boys explored the ceremony space, their excitement bubbling over as they saw where the magic would unfold. It gave them confidence, comfort, and a sense of being part of something important.

Their flowers — included within the package and lovingly created by Brackens of Bowness — were already waiting. Rawnie & Josh chose to add a few thoughtful touches: buttonholes for the dads, corsages for the mums, and the sweetest page boy buttonholes for the children. Because everything came from the same talented florist, each piece matched seamlessly with the included bridal bouquet, groom’s buttonhole, and ceremony table arrangement. It all felt beautifully cohesive, as though the day had been designed just for them.
They invited Erin Costella to capture part of their day, and she documented those tender, fleeting moments that make a wedding feel alive — the glances, the laughter, the way their children looked at them with pride.

And then there was the cake — also part of the package — a rich chocolate creation that absolutely delighted the boys. A simple joy, but a memorable one.
Rawnie & Josh’s wedding was proof that a day doesn’t need to be grand to be extraordinary. With the right touches included, and the freedom to add the details that matter most, it becomes something quietly magical — a celebration that feels effortless, heartfelt, and entirely yours.
They were kind enough to share with us some of their thoughts about their day and the lead up to it:
"How do you put into words a day that was so perfect!
We celebrated our wedding at Lindeth Howe in October, and it was everything we dreamed of. After 13 years together, eight of which we were engaged, bought our first house, and had two children, it finally felt time to celebrate us as a couple!
Both of us did not know where to start with wedding planning, but from our first visit at Lindeth Howe, we felt completely at ease and knew it was the venue for us. The decor inside and the atmosphere are so welcoming, and it really made us excited to get married there.
We had an intimate ceremony with only close family, and they all have said how perfect it was and all have commented on how beautiful the grounds are and how fantastic the food was, especially the wedding cake!
The staff are all so kind and friendly, especially John who kept in contact prior with what to expect on the days before and on the day etc. It really put us at ease especially and when the nerves were kicking in on the day!
Thank you, Lindeth Howe, for the fantastic memories that we will treasure forever, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect day!"
