Susan & Stuart's Special Day
Some weddings carry a deeper emotional weight, and Stuart & Susan’s exclusive‑use celebration was one of those days that reminded us just how powerful love, family, and togetherness can be.
In the days leading up to their wedding, they suffered a heartbreaking loss, and our team’s focus became ensuring that every remaining detail was handled with grace, kindness, and the utmost consideration. We wanted to give them space, minimise fuss, and support them gently through a moment no couple ever expects to face so close to their special day.
Despite the sadness surrounding their celebration, the memory of Mum was woven tenderly throughout the day — carried in their hearts, reflected in their smiles, and honoured in the quiet, meaningful moments shared between family and friends. She was remembered with love, with stories, and with the kind of fond memories that bring both comfort and connection.
What unfolded was a wedding filled with warmth and sincerity. Their guests gathered not only to celebrate a marriage, but to surround Stuart & Susan with strength, affection, and the reassurance that they were not facing this moment alone. It was a day shaped by resilience, by love in its truest form, and by the gentle beauty that comes from holding joy and remembrance side by side.

And now, in their own words, here is their story.
We had our exclusive use wedding here in June 2023. From booking it Jan 2022 Liz and Claire were on it honestly nothing is too much trouble. Every step of the way they where there to guide us through. We lost my mother in law close to the wedding and was thinking of calling it all off just the thought of her not being there was heartbreaking instead we incorporated her into the day and had her there every step of the way. A designated seat with her tributes on on the front row and her very own top table seat. I couldn't of done any of it without these 2.
Our special day was just amazing and I could redo it again and again. It was flawless, from the room being set up just wow. I couldn't quite believe it could of looked that special. I didn't want a lot of decor because the hotel is very unique and when we first walked in to view it in Jan 2022 it sent a shiver down our spines it's just got that feeling.
The change over was smooth and we were lucky the weather was beautiful because everyone was admiring the gorgeous grounds and having as many pictures with the hotel as they could fit in.
The food was Michelin star quality, everyone complimented the food and presentation. And our cake, just wow.
The night disco was included in our package and the DJ was brilliant he was so funny and got everyone up dancing.
