Festive Menu

Gather your friends, family or colleagues around the table in the run-up to Christmas. 

Our festive lunches are served from 1st December to 23rd December 2023

Our delicious festive-themed menu is served in the restaurant and the Hilltop room (the room you will be in will be dependent on other business we may have on the day and the table sizes that are booked) throughout December.

Expect a warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, and a meal to remember.

If you wish to join us for dinner, the main restaurant menu is available 7 days a week.

Starters

Soup of the Day - Homemade fresh bread

Chicken Liver Parfait - Damson and apple chutney, hazelnut, brioche

Cartmel Salmon - Pickled vegetables, beetroot gel, sourdough croutons, herb oil

Wild Mushroom Arancini - Pine nut, truffle cream, baby leaf

Main courses

Traditional Roast Turkey - Roast potatoes, carrot & swede puree, Brussels sprouts, sage & onion stuffing, pigs in blankets & gravy

Pork Cutlet - Grain mustard creamed potatoes, roast cabbage, apple sauce, confit shallot

Cod - Pancetta, celeriac, pickled cockles, fish velouté

Aubergine - Butterbean curry, roast red pepper puree

Desserts

Christmas Pudding - Brandy sauce

Sticky Toffee Pudding - Butterscotch sauce, vanilla ice cream

Spiced Apple & Sultana Crumble - Vanilla ice cream

Winterberry Pavlova - Berry gel

 

Booking is essential.

A non-refundable deposit of £10.00 per person is required to secure your booking.

Please let us know when booking if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies.

For tables of 10 or more, we will require a pre-order.
